Image Match RT is a training tool for radiation therapy image matching. You overlay a treatment image onto a reference image and align them as precisely as you can — just like matching to a reference position on a linac.

Getting started

1. Pick an Image Set from the dropdown at the top. Single sets show one image pair; stereoscopic sets show a left and right pair.
2. The overlay image sits on top of the base image. Drag it, or use the controls on the left, to line it up with the underlying anatomy.
3. When you're happy with the alignment, tick Okay to treat (or Reset patient if the match is unsafe) and press Submit Match.

Aligning the image

• Drag the overlay with your mouse for coarse positioning.
• Arrow keys nudge by 0.1 mm; hold Shift for 1 mm steps. Movement is shown live in millimetres.
• Adjust brightness, contrast, transparency and rotation to help you see the match. The Green Tint button colours the overlay so edges stand out.
• Zoom in for fine work — displacements stay accurate in image-coordinate millimetres at any zoom.
• For stereoscopic sets, the right panel controls the second image. Lock keeps both zooms in sync.

Scoring

Every submission is scored against the ideal position. Lower error is better — a perfect match is 0 mm. Your match earns points on a 0–100 scale (100 = perfect), and both your points and your error in millimetres are shown so you build real clinical intuition.

Game mode

When a teacher starts a game, hit 🎮 Game Mode to see the live leaderboard and countdown timer. Click a set chip to jump to it, match it once, and you'll automatically advance to the next image. You get one scored attempt per image in a game, though you can go back to review earlier ones. Perfect matches trigger a splash and combo bonuses — string them together for Legendary and beyond!

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard link shows overall standings. You can filter by image set, organisation, individual user, and date range.
